the location turned out to be comfortable and good, really close to the attached restaurant and the downtown. i ate in the attached restaurant nearby. there were comfy beds and central heating, coffee/tea making equipment, and television with satellite channels in the double room.

I recently stayed at Macklin Motor Inn for a couple of nights while on a business trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I was impressed when the owner/server at the restaurant greeted me by my first name. The location was convenient, and the bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. The restaurant on site had delicious food, and the staff was personable. I will definitely stay here again.

The cleanliness of the room was lacking, with mud on the carpet and dust blowing out of the heater. the bathroom floor was dirty and the shower/bathtub needed a thorough cleaning.
